View Full Version : Is there anything to be gained by getting the Mission Impossible '2-Pack'??
I am gonna be buying the first Mission Impossible film to go with MI2. However i notice that a few retailers have a '2-Pack' advertised on site (Future Entertainment & Absound). Is there any thing to be gained form this? Like a shiny box or different re-release or anything? Absound have it considerably cheaper and actually in stock, but its sure to be a customs hit even though Absound have it marked as 'Gift' in the category.
Anyone know whats best or not? :)

I've got the R2 boxset and it contains both the already released discs stuffed into a cardboard outer. I assume that the R1 is the same.
Cheers Splobber, if thats the case I'll prolly give it a miss and just order the single Mission Impossible.
Cheers

The only advantage I found was that I managed to get both of these films for less than £7.50 each.
WH Smiths were selling the box for £19.99 (the same price as a single MI film) and I got it in their last "buy one -get one half price" offer.)
Good job too as Mission Impossible is a great film with no extras, wheras MI2 is a noisy mess with decent extras.

I did the same and got it in the last smiths offer. No it's not limited edition. Well they aren't numbered if that's what you mean? (Slobber's ones might be, can't tell from the pic :D )
