I think it got cancelled in the US, and that was the end of it.

According to the episode list on tvtome, there should potentially be another 3 episodes. 'Acts of Congress' being the last one we saw on Sky (unless I missed one :( )

There doesn't appear to be any sign of it next week on either Sky One or Sky One Mix... :oh-hum:
The next episode "give daddy some sugar" is on the 29th on Sky One at 23.00, then it's repeated the next day on Sky Mix.

Cheers Bish for the heads up. I don't know about anyone else but I have been enjoying this especially as there is some nice eye candy in the regular line up:nuts:
Trust Sky to mess up the schedules big time this week, there was this, 24 and Cold Case all shafted in the schedules..:oh-hum:
If you check radiotimes.co.uk it says it is on this Thursday and is episode "The Wedding Party".
It's not on this week though as Cold Case has a double episode and (as Bish says) the 29th is the next showing.
But does this mean they are going to show the unaired epsiodes on sky? Looks like there were/are 2 unaired episodes.
Shame it has been cancelled as I think after an average start it has become very enjoyable.
I thought the start was great! Especially the first episode when the female officer is in the toilet trying to construct a weapon of sorts

The first episode did show promise and had some good moments but the first few episodes were nothing special. They were enjoyable but about 5 or 6 in (I think) the show seemed to find it's feet and know what it was and from then on it was much better and I actually watched it 'live' rather then over the weekend on TIVO as I did with the earlier episodes. :)
I think it's been an excellent series. Although does anyone feel that Joe Pantoliano sometimes mumbles, I find it can be quite hard to hear what he's saying.
I know what you mean Bish, but I've never had a problem understanding him.
I've only seen the first 4 eps so if it gets even better after that then I'd be chuffed

Yes I Have had to have the volume up really high in order to understand him..I am glad it isn't just me..

I find that the stories don't flow on into a series, it's like short stories the whole way through. If they allowed for character development, and spread some of the stories over a few a few episodes I feel it would be a better show.
Also if they are hammering under cover officers in one city, they are bound to get recognised, just a thought :suspect:
An excellent show and one of the new shows I have been enjoying on Sky One (which has really improved since the arrival of Dawn Airey). Has it really been cancelled in the US?

Didn't see any official confirmation and I hadn't read anything elsewhere.
Can't trust the people on this site. Well dodgy. ;)
I have really enjoyed the series.
Checked on digiguide and it says...
Give Daddy Some Sugar. Series 1, episode 14 on the 29th April and also
The Big Fall. Series 1, episode 16 on the 3rd of May
So...if we are losing the series for good at some point what happened to episode 15?
Weird
Looking at TIVO last night it shows the missing episode "The Wedding Party" as being shown after The Big Fall for some reason. As long as it gets shown :)
Cool, just got to remember to set up the Sky+ again next week.
Cheers for the info

Haven't checked mine, but hopefully it's also been automatically re-added. :)

Madness!
Mine did the same, that's very cool indeed.
Sky+ comes up trumps again.

I've just watched "The Wedding Party", and am shocked that that the show has been cancelled! I really enjoyed it. Anyone know if there are any plans to release it on DVD?
Just caught the last episode of the handler...is it me or was it filmed unlike all the others? Very odd camera work I thought.
Anyways, seeing as it's all done with I thought it would be interesting to have your views on why it was deemed a failure (in the US...was it a failure here?).
My opinion...
While I thought it was an excellent program I did have trouble with not feeling any closeness to anyone at all, apart from the young lass Lily. And even then it was only during the terribly uncomfortable, and equally brilliant, wedding episode (I had a headache after, I found it really stressful).
Do you think that it may have been one of it's failures to not have any really likable/identifiable/connectible characters in it?
In a way I'm not that bothered that it's been canceled. As you say it was quite a stressful experience. Maybe that's a harsh way of putting it but it was quite tough to watch in the way it was shot. It was very harsh, I don't know why though. Maybe it's because the character seemed a bit hollow, not just the main characters but the guest stars too. Maybe it's because the agents were normally playing other characters too.
The best thing about it was some of the plots. Some of them were pretty interesting.

That maybe why, kind of left cold at the end each episode as they are not normally effected by their actions.
I've really enjoyed this series and would have liked to see it continue and perhaps develop further. It was hinted that Darnell was getting burned out so they could have gone down that road and built an ongoing storyline around that.
I agree that last episode was shot different as I don't remember the others being like that.
