..the Army Of Darkness.

recently, with the release of Dead by Dawn on R2, i couldn't be arsed waiting for the Evil Dead Trilogy box set next year - OR searching for the Evil Dead 2 R1 TIN edition, so i settled for R2 releases of both the first two movies, which i'm extremely pleased with. :)

Question is: Army of Darkness isn't out yet on R2.. so which version of Army of Darkness is worth going for? The R1 bootleg edition or the standard widescreen ed? Or, should i just wait for a hopefuly worthy edition of AoD on R2?

i know the questions about the Evil Dead trilogy DVDs are asked everyother post it seems, sorry for being tedious.

:p

All depends on what you want mate ifyou want the commentary plus the extra 15 minutes with the downside being poor quality picture at times :( Or the THX version which has only the documentry as an extra but has excellent picture quality and a 5.1 audio track (I think) :)

I just bought both, the theatrical cut with a documentary and alternate ending, and director's cut with commentary, therefore having both discs that came in that 2disc LE thats going for 150 on ebay.

also depends which ending you want on the film.

I personally think, this topic should be a sticky post with the following only:
Title, region, picture ratio (ie wide, p&s, etc) sound, full list of extras, and overall pic/sound quality etc for every version of the film out. That way, people could see exactly what each version offers.
