Have I made the right choice by Ordering this? I am fascinated by the film but should i have waited for a different release? What are the features like, quality of the film etc etc.

For £8.50 you can't really complain. It isn't the best picture quality and it's not anamorphic. The DTS track is fantastic.

Even if/when a new release comes out you should be able to shift the R3 for a fiver.

Never liked it. All the characters deserve what they get -I'd do it myself in fact.

Still for £8.50 you can always pass it on www.coolashop.com sell it.

So, is this film banned in the U.K? Because it sounds really interesting to me.

Not banned in UK. Is on cinema release now.

Just got lots of press in Japan because of the nature of the film.

Another negative reaction to a movie from Appria.

It's an incredibly clever and provocative set-up for a film, and Beat Takeshi's casting is spot-on. However, apart from isolated scenes scattered throughout, it simply doesn't work, as it's neither horrific enough or funny enough to succeed as horror or satire.

For £8 just buy it and watch it yourself, & make up your own mind.

I loved it, forget any negative reviews because a hell of alot more people think its great.

....and I found it both funny & shocking.

+ The R2 is being released by Tartan so expect an average transfer on a crap disc for double the price you've paid for the R3.

I'm interested in this film and I would like to see it. Where can I pick up this DVD from a good site for a reasonable price?

Cheers. http://members.tripod.co.uk/Paul490/xyxthumbs.gif

:D That's the right smilie!

I wouldn't pay £13.50 for it cos the re-sale value is very low.

I really loved the film, it does have a few weaknesses, but overall I was completely absorbed by it.

For £8.50 it's well worth a viewing.
