Does anyone out there know of a site that ships Region 0 DVD's to the U.K.
I heard that they come from Malaysia.
The reason I am asking is I have just bought
Jeepers Creepers DVD Region 0 from my local Car Boot Sale for £15 and it is excellent quality.
They also had Planet Of The Apes 2001 plus loads of others. All boxed in Original cases.
Hope You Can Help.

Somehow, I don't think that this is likely. ;)

A mate of mine brought round a 'official' (;)) copy of POTA 2001 the other night! And all I can say is....oh dear! Sure the picture was better than the old 'official' (;)) video's but it was still total tosh. It was dark, it moved about all over the place (not camcorder style, more like the picture was in 4 pieces which kept sliding about!!) The write up on the case was for sister act and monkeybone! The actors listed on the front are not in the film (prob not even actors) and the whole thing just looked rubbish. I would much rather wait just that little bit longer and get the real deal. I mean if your THAT deperate to see a film just go the cinema (for less than £15) then if you liked the film wait for its official release.

Neil, this is in no means a dig at you mate. I just could not have a few mates around to watch something so crap (in terms of quality). The whole reason for me wanting a home cinema set up is to use it how it should be used.
I wouldn't buy a Ferrari and put a Fiesta engine in it! (yeah yeah I know crap example :))

EDIT; Mods I hope you dont see this as advertising this sort of @@@@? This post is to warn people if nothing more :)

...and, anyway, "Region 0" (or "Region: All", or "ALL-Region") does not necessarily mean 'illegal' or 'bootleg' - or 'made in Malaysia' -

...most (perfectly legal!) Hong Kong DVDs in my 'collection' are R0 (but a few HK discs of Japanese movies are encoded R3), so are many if not most made-in-USA DVDs from the Criterion Collection, ditto for made-in-USA 'DVD Magazines' (e.g. SHORT #1, 2, 3, etc. (a film-related 'magazine' released on the WB label) and CIRCUIT #1, 2, 3, etc. (a music-related 'magazine', also on the WB label)...

...I believe most if not all music DVDs are R0 - e.g. my copies of R.E.M.'s TOURFILM (WB again, disc bought in France) and of George Gershwin's Porgy & Bess (EMI Classics -"MADE IN THE EU" and NTSC, disc bought in USA) are not region-encoded...

...and, of course, so-called 'adult' DVDs, regardless of where they're made, are not region-encoded...
