View Full Version : Buffy S1 re-release or an Amazon goof?

Right, to complete the collection i was gonna order Buffy S1. After looking up i realised that nearly nobody has it in stock. However, after looking it up at amazon i got the below screen:

Am i missing something here? Its defo the UK version too. :confused:
EDIT - I'm after the R2 version. ;)

Its clearly a mistake.
There not gonna release a PAL transfer in America coz that would be plain stupid !.

I read somewhere that Buffy season 1 was going to be re-released over here along with the first 2 X-files seasons. This might be the reason Amazon.co.uk has listed it as Not Yet Available. It should be the same as the previous one.

The R1 edition is due for January and will have some new interviews not seen on the R2/4 but will most probably be the same otherwise.

There were quiet rumours the print was going to be re-mastered but I haven't heard anything to back that up.

A DVD company would have to be pretty stupid to release a PAL product into a NTSC area, just as stupid as releasing NTSC products into PAL areas. MADNESS (yes I'm well aware some UK R2 releases have been NTSC- just another example of how much the UK market matters to US based companies...)

Aha, it would of been nice if you'd have stated you were after the R2.;)

It looks like a standard re-issue, happens all the time.

they are just re- releases. Go into most shops at the moment and you won't find buffy or x-files. Apparantly there were limited runs at first although I don't see the point

Buffy Season 1, X-Files Season 1 + 2 are currently moratorium they will be re-released when the next season comes out then put on moratorium again.
