Memento Canadian Version - Problem

Just got the Canadian version of this. I can't load the disc though. So far it has only come on once. It just loads forever. Could this be like Gladiator disc 2 probs last year? should I wait 5mins for it to load?. It works fine on my DVD-ROM. Is the chronological thing to blame. I have a PROline 1000 player.:confused:

Could it be because it is a RCE encoded disc, have you been able play one before ?
You could sent it to me and I'll try it for you ( I quite fancy watching that one). :D

I have the Canadian version (excellent movie by the way) and it plays fine on My Bush DVD player but won't work at all on my Wharfdale. Must be RCE?

I watched it on my PROline the night before I posted, but it did the Gladiator thing. Loads for ages. Tried to get it back on but it just keeps loading.
