Just wondering if people would post their experiences with different mobile providers. I'm on Orange at the moment but wouldn't mind getting the new Nokia whatsisname which is Vodafone and O2 only at the moment.
But then again I may go for something else so... what's your experience in terms of reception/coverage, customer services, call charges etc?
Cheers all!

Oh, right, sorry, thanks.
I've been with Vodaphone for yrs now, and always found them to be helpful, never had any probs with them at all.
My other half is with o2 on the online only package.. he really like them, and the package is good too.. much better than my Voda one.
O2 was voted network of the year in 2003. Their signal is geting better and better. Its great if you text alot as you get 300 free sms messages.

Hmmm.... very tempted by a P900 though and that seems cheaper on Orange than any other network.

I began mobile phone life back in the days of Martin Dawes and all was fine until all of their contracts were eventually transferred via O2 to Vodafone who IMO are a complete bunch of muppets.
If you go into a store to buy a new phone, their credit check on you fails because you haven't paid their latest bill - even though it was only raised yesterday, you pay by direct debit and have never missed a payment!!
Funny how in the odd month that I have high useage I don't seem to get my full allocation of free minutes but get charged for all my calls. The unallocated free minutes then re-appear the following month but get lost as I hardly use the phone that month
Or the other trick is that you think you have carefully judged using the free minutes only to find that they don't bill half of your time that month which gets billed the following month when you know you have gone way over the free minute allocation and you end up paying for calls that should have been free the previous month
CS don't respond to mail or e-mail and when you eventually get hold of them on the phone they are as thick as......
I'm just about to cancel with Vodafone and will NEVER use them again.
My wife, her family and the rest of my family are all with Orange and they seem to be excellent. Stick with them and wait for the phone to be released on ORange

I've recently tried ordering from vodafone but they have not delivered my phone on the date specified and have not replied to any of my emails!:gag: :cuckoo:
Have heard stories of nightmare CS from all of them.
Been with O2 for about 5 years and have no real problems - bit of a faff getting my most recent upgrade but that was more down to the O2 highstreet shops not quite running in sync with O2's other systems.
Their current Leisuretime Plus tariff fits my needs perfectly - 500 min off-peak to landline and O2, 50 mins offpeak to other networks and 100 text messages for 20 quid a month. Every year when I'm wanting to upgrade I look elsewhere and can't find anything else that fits my needs as well. I find O2 generally best for upgrade too, if you're like me and hanker for a new phone every year - generally best choice of phones too, Orange are very poor in that regard.
Subjectively, reception generally seems better than Orange and T-Mobile who I've had work phones with in the past. Orange seems fine in cities but can get a bit patchy in hilly countryside where O2 is always fine - used to have an office near Horsham (not far at all from London) with no Orange cover at all!
