Please can i have a few opinions off people.
I dont know wether to buy The Wharfedale M5 (£149.99) or the Toshiba SD110E (159.99 With 3 DVD's).
The things that concern me about both is that every post i have seen about the M5 is one concerning various problems. The one I have seen is dated Aug 2001. And The Tosh is not Region hackable, but then again i am not particularly bothered about R1 Discs.
I hope someone can help me decide on which one or even any others to get, as i will be buying it tomorrow.

Cheers

The Toshiba is a far better machine than the Wharfedale. To get the Tosh to be multi-region requires you to either get the machine chipped or buy a multi-region version from somewhere like www.richersounds.com

I have to agree with john.
There are few reasons to buy the M5.Its feature count is high, but then so is the Cyberhome that is only £99.
The Tosh is a quality player from a company with a very high reputation in DVD players.I would consider buying one already modified for multiregion. If you buy online, you will get one for little more than a R2 only version. You then have the option of buying films earlier on R1 or cheaper on R4.
