Monty Python and the Holy Grail SE R1: Missing Swedish subtitle card and more!!1111

It's been confirmed on the HTF that the first Swedish subtitle card during the film's opening credits is missing. :(

Moreover, loads of people have reported problems with subtitles appearing when they haven't been selected. This problem seems to affect Sony, Toshiba and Mitsubishi players only. :(

I wonder if CTHV will reissue the disc?

Swedish subtitle card ??? You mean the stuff with the moose etc. ? Because I did see that on my dvd or am I missing something here....

I have just watched on my Sony player and I get subtitles for people who dont like the film pop up every now and again! Its bloody annoying!! :mad:

Not sure if it`s on all DVD`s but when i played mine, it starts off as "Dentist on the job" but when my friend played his, it didn't?

It was a good comedy moment before the film.

When is "The life of Brian" going to get this sort of treatment? i don`t want to buy this version, only for a better one to come out in 4 month time

The Region 2 edition of Holy Grail comes out in Quarter 2 2002. The Python boys promise a spectaclar edition.

The Pythons also promise a spectacular edition of Life of brian some time during 2002, once Paramount lose the rights to distribute it.

Python have advised fans to avoid the purchase of the forthcoming Paramount edition. Apparently there is a dissagreement between Python and Paramount. Paramount have apparently never paid any royalties to Python for video sales over the years?
