I was all set with a decision to what to buy but Justin has changed my mind a bit and now i'am undecided.

I have gone with a JVC WS 28inch Flat Screen TV and a Pioneer 545 DVD Player.

I need a AmP that can do DTS and 5.1 and has a range of music options ect as it will be used for music a lot as well.

The speakers are gonna be used for music as well as films, but no to big though (but no those tiny things) more slim line if possible as i don'nt have that big a room.

Got around 400-500 to spend, the lesser the better though as budget is all ready over with the DVD Player. Many Thanks, Rizel

As yopu have choosen the Pioneer, why not the matching slimline VSXC300 receiver, and a SV50 pack? Or Yamaha RXV420RDS receiver and NSP220 or 320 speaker/sub pack. All under £500:)

Thanks Justin for your reply. I do very much like the 'Pioneer VSXC300' but why is there so little power output (30wpc)?

Also what are those Small Spekers like for music? as i listen to a lot of Hip Hop and Drum & Bass (its ok, i can, i'am only 18:)) I had my eye on 'Eltax Silverado (Speaker Package)' from Richer sounds as they look a bit more beefy and floor standing? Anyone have any experience with 'Eltax' modle? Many thanks, Rizel

THis months what HiFi reviews several speaker packages including the eltax. I cant remember the results but eltax speakers are normally OK not Brilliant.
