make my dvd player multi-region

I believe it is sometimes possible to make your dvd player multi-region, just by typing a code in with the hand set. Anyone know any web sites that might list the codes.

Do you know your make and model? Often just typing that and 'hack' will bring up a multi-region hack on Google.
