Saw it many years ago and would love to see it again. Without giving too much away the film was about people getting trapped in telephone boxes and being taken away, phone box included, on the back of a truck.
Can anyone help me out with this one - please??
sorry roger - i'm not much use but i remember watching this on BBC2 donkeys years ago. couldn't figure out what the hell was going on - didn't they end up taking him (box on all) on a truck and *** edited due to spoiler ***

It's Spanish, it's called The Telephone Box (or La Cabina) in the original, it was made in 1970 by Antonio Mercero, and it scored a truly phenomenal 9.6 on the IMDB ratings meter.

Cheers Michael - I know that this is Rogers post but it got me thinking as well. Guess the name should have been bloody obvious really.

bossc@ you really should edit your post as it destroys one of the best endings ever put on film.
Sorry Jonathon and all who may have read this - me not thinking I'm afraid. It just seemed to be so obscure but I know thats no excuse as there are a lot of people here who do watch or have access to these films.
Whats that phonebooth movie that Joel Schumacher was looking at remaking. I've never seen it but the idea sounds very interesting.. Is there any more info about it?
What was the origional called? Anyone on here seen it?

Many thanks Mr B - I'll be on the look out for a copy now.
It just popped in my head when we were talking at work - strange how at odd moments you remember something for no particular reason!

Good luck. To my knowledge it’s not been released on any home video format. Make a perfect piece on the Short Cinema compilations though.
