I need help on something.

The Two Towers had 3 trailers released at the cinema.

I've been trying to find somewhere to download them, but most places mirrors are now down. (Including apple!)

What I want is the length of each trailer.

Does anybody know how long each trailer ran?

I remember the first one was quite short, and the other two were regular length.

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

ave the teaser (with Cate Blanchett voice over) - thats 2 mins 05 by the quicktime counter.

The trailer (with the music from requiem for a dream) is 3mins 04 secs.

don't remember there being a third trailer as such (not released on the net anyway)...

There were three trailers. The first was a montage that was tacked onto the end of the first film near the end of its theatrical run. The teaser was a butchered version of this, and then there was the awesome theatrical trailer with the Requiem music.

I never classed the preview tacked at the end of the fotr as a proper trailer tho - IIRC that was approx 4 mins long tho..

edit:

I posted that I thought the first trailer was about 60 seconds wrong, but i think i'm wrong.

I've updated the trailer links on my site (hit the www button) for the LOTR trilogy with working links for 2 'The Two Towers' trailers.

The trailer (preview) that was shown at the end of Fellowship of the Ring at the end of its theatrical run is also on the Two Towers theatrical DVD. It runs for approx. 3mins 30 secs.

The first trailer available for download from the official website, with Cate Blanchett's voiceover, runs for approx 2 mins.

The second trailer, which would have been the one that ran in the cinemas, has dialogue from the film, and runs for approx 3 mins 1 sec.

How accurate do you want the timings? I find the last image finishes about 3 seconds before the clip ends.
