Howdo,

Got an opportunity to purchase one of these new at around £550 including a stand. Can't find any mention of it on the web though...

Can anyone point me in the direction of a review, or (if you own, did own, will own one) what your personal thoughts are.

Cheers etc,

Andy.

Or a picture, with the stand, for the missus. :)

Unbeatable.co.uk are doing it for £474.96 WITHOUT the cabinet.

I'm considering getting the 28" version.

Pic here (http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/default.asp?page=product&sku=314327&shopid=SHOPGCDBBDEBHIDLVR7647SPWQ3101XBDD8877) of the TV without the cabinet

HTH.

I also considered both the TV's Unbeatable.co.uk but they said it would be a 4-5 week wait for them

Cheers all,

Unbeatable was the best price I could find too. Problem is, I'll not get it into the lounge without her approval, and this will require a print out of the aforementioned cabinet.

These things matter, right?

I'm off to scan the web for another piccy.

Thanks again,

Andy.

Aha! Found one here (http://www.kingdom88.com/bos/listings/545.html) .

Apparently, it meets the requisites, and shall soon be gracing my lounge.

Did you try QED

www.qed-uk.com

I ordered the 32PW6006C for my parents last Wednesday. I think it came to £571 + (inc stand)

They were in stock unlike unbeatable and empiredirect.

Hope it helps

Hmmm..

Can't see a mention of the stand on that link X-Man... That's actually cheaper than Unbeatable (by £7). Do you reckon they'll price match?

aaah nuts i was going to get the 28" version of the Philips PW 6006 from unbeatable cos it is way cheaper than anywhere else. Are you sure there is that long a delivery time?

it comes to £350 after postage which is probably worth a delivery wait as it is the cheapest i can see anywhere, but 4-5 weeks is a long time.

oh well
