Martial Law ?

With the first season now being repeated on Five it made me wonder whether there was going to be DVD releases of both seasons at any point ?

I half remember that a Fox film survey asked if people would be interested, but I'm a bit hazy on details. ;)

I'm sure HKL wouldn't mind a cross-promotional tie-in since all ttheir Sammo films have 'With the Star of TV's Martial Law' on them ! :D

I would LOVE to see this on DVD, it's already out on VCD so why not DVD!!! I'm a huge Sammo fan btw ;)

And if HKL accuired the rights to this, then even better!

I didn't realise that there were VCDs of this ! Are they official ? Do you know anywhere (online) that stocks them ?

Heh, thought I was the only one here who liked this show. I managed to tape Season 2 while I was in the States a few years ago, but I don't have a VHS player now :P. Frankly, don't see a DVD release anytime soon unless there's a cash in involved.

A bit of a guilty pleasure this. Some of the outtakes are naff, but the good ones made me gag and you can see how much fun they had making the show. Still, would def. get this on DVD if it ever came out!

Another obscure show I'd love to see on DVD would be PJ's, but that's a different story.

Now, as Fox usually publish the HKL licensed films out in the US, perhaps we can hope for a team-up for the release sometime ?

After a seearch round the only other retailer with these VCDs is VCDSales (http://www.vcdsales.com/Single.asp?x=S049). However, they appear to supply two VCDs for the same price as HKFlix's one.

Has anybody got any experience of these guys ? Any good ? Anybody seen/got the VCDs ? Any good ?

The vcds are ok. but only a few episodes available.
They have burnt in chinese subs also...........

I hate it when they mess around with shows, completely lose the thing that made them great and end up killing them.

Wasn't this at one time the number one show in the US - I remember Samo coming on Letterman or Leno and being introduced as starring in the new number one hit show.
