I am the proud new dad of a brand new shiny Sony DAV S500 (Yes, Justin I did decide on the Sony after all). Lovely! My query is with the interconnects. I have hooked up the player via svideo to scart on av1 (also connected audio outs - daft really have to keep turning of tele speakers!) The tele is a Hitachi C28WF523N. Now when I stick a disk in it doesn't switch automatically to AV1. When it was connected via simple composite and audio to scart it did switch. What gives? (I know I'm lazy, it means an extra button push, but what the heck I love automatic)
