wooo whooo MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE is out on R1, that film should be a laugh to watch again, the film doesn't beat the great cartoon episodes in the 80's though, Anyone know if they are going to do a release for the cartoons, they brought transformers out , why not the mighty he-man. Remember SHEERA, not the footballer who use to be good at one point, well wouldn't it be great if they did a movie on her, NOW WHO COULD PLAY HER???
i think that fit bird who didn't say much in planet of the apes would fit the part well, any suggestions???

I'm waiting for some reviews on the pic and sound b4 buying :D :D
For pure nostalgia i'd LOVE to see the original He-Man on dvd, that was class. Orko was one of my favourites, i can never remember the name of he-man's cat though, anyone?.
I used to have the castle greyskull action figure set with loads of the figures, i remember selling them when i was about 10 for £50:( , that was one of my biggest regrets.
I would also love to see ThunderCats released as well, that had the best theme tune ever.
'BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL.............'

He-Man/Adam's cat was called Battlecat/Cringer.
YEAAASSSSS, thank you i can't tell you how long that has been bugging me. Cringer was the wuss and BattleCat the hard one. Wow, the memories !!!!!!. Didn't Skeletor have a cat as well?. I remember having the action figure, it was purple with a suede covering. That was a classy cat
I still have a few episodes of He-Man banging about on VHS somewhere. They should definitely release Thundercats, the first episode was feature length i think (or maybe 60 mins) and was great!

That was the rather less imaginatively named Panthor, who appeared much less than the aforementioned Cringer/Battle Cat. I loved the cartoon series as a child too. If you want even more of a nostalgia fix, have a look here (http://www.he-man.org/).
That is a great link, but boy do i feel old now...and very sad. Methinks that site gets bookmarked in the folder marked 'Guilty Pleasures'.:D

Has this not been released before or something? I saw MOTU in HMV the other day.
its currently in their 3 for 20 offer along with another classic Flash Gordon :) So i got those two and Them!
I have this on DVD (couldn't resist it, loved it when I was younger), and the picture and sound are top notch, anamorphic, only prologic mind, but not bad at all. Excellent commentary from the director aswell.
