Hi Everyone,
I picked up a Mustek 552 a few years ago back when the whole "sub 100 pound" player market was opening up. This player replaced a Marantz player which, although limited - was fantastic quality.
So two years later we have 35 pound players on the market etc.
My question is about the current state of "sub 100" players - Im interested in one of the new crop of dvd players which play divx and the like - the DK/Yamada ones in particular.
Would i expect a similar kind of cheap and cheerful quality with these things today compared to my old 90 pound mustek one - or has the quality caught up in the past few years?
I wouldnt want to make a sideways step - might aswell just hand out 200 quid for another marantz or something?
Any guidance?
