Game like GTC Vice City

Any help would be appreciated I am after a game that is similar to GTC Vice City or a first person game where you have to do solve problems etc. This is for the PS2 BTW. Thanks

GTA3 is OK ish though not as cool as VC (no bikes!)

The Getaway for PS2, you can pick it up for £15 on platinum but from what I've heard GTA is much better

yeah the Getaway, its not as good as GTA mainly because the controls aren't up to scratch but its still better then True Crime.

GTA, GTA: London, GTA2 and GTA3 are the closest things you'll get to Vice City, however, I would recommend the Hitman series (Hitman/Hitman 2/the forthcoming Hitman: Contracts). Third OR first person, lots of action and many ways of completing each mission (ie. go in guns blazing or take out targets with poison in their drinks or snipe them or sneak up on them and hit them with a baseball bat or...)

They really are as cool as they sound, and the first 2 will play on reasonably low-spec PCs - 800MHz processor and a 32Mb graphics card is all you need for good results, though as always the more power the better (and Hitman 2 is available on all three consoles - so if the PS2 is your only option, there you go).

Hitman: Contracts (for PC) is available for Pre-Order at Play.com for £17.99 too. :thumbs:

I agree with Hitman 2, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this, but had to use a walkthru! Cant wait for hitman 3.

What about max payne 1 or 2 ?

I took a chance on True Crime for £15 in the Gameplay Payday Sale. Managed to get to the third training mission before chucking it it, the cars handle like shopping trolleys and the shooting and hand to hand combat make you feel like Joey Deacon. Avoid like a disease filled tramp.
