Is Rush Hour Worth Buying ?

I have to say im not a big fan of Racial stereotypes + Fish out of water = Predictable comedy situations, which is what I gather Rush Hour is based on.
But I might overlook this if the film is very enjoyable.

S'alright. Good for a laugh if you haven't got anything else to do. It never ceases to amaze me how Chan can do what he does, at his age. He must be pushing fifty? God, I'll be lucky if I can still walk at that age, the way I'm going... :)

Well, you can pick it up cheap enough.

I should imagine it'll be on telly soon as it's been out quite a while and Sky Moviemax seem to have finnished with it.

Well the R2 version is 8.99 at play247 at the moment. I like it and its one of the first better DVD packages to come out. Great extras and a great commentary.

i think they film is pretty good, though i do find Chris Tucker a bit annoying.

I would recommend going for the R1 version and not the region 2 version as EiV forgot to include burnt in subtitles during the non-english speaking parts on there region 2 version. This may not bother you at all and if it wouldnt then get. But it really annoys me so im personally going to get Rush Hour and Rush Hour 2 at the same time on R1 dvd when the second one comes out.

The Rush Hour region 2 dvd does also have an english subtitle track on it but Eiv, being the tits that they are, still didnt even put any subtitles for the non-english parts on it!

Also had Guest House Paradiso for the same price!

Anyway, Rush Hour is a great film - just make sure you get a disc that works! Had to take mine back TWICE to MVC :rolleyes:
