Does anybody know wether this disc actually exists or not ?

Amazon.com certainly *think* it does....but I've not seen it referenced anywhere else.

....this movie has been a bit of a holy grail for me - the first John Cusack flick I saw - and still one of my favourite films.

I enjoyed this when I was a teenager, but I much prefer Cusack in One Crazy Summer.

this dvd is OUT OF PRINT and extremely difficult to find. I read on the digital bits website a few months back that a special edition of this dvd is in pipeline.

the sooner it's released the better. this also has to be one of my favourite films, you can't beat a good old 80's road movie.

One of my favourites. "you told her i was a VIRGIN?????,you told her i was GAY???????????" Cusack is brilliant in this.

I got that for £5 or something from either DVDSoon or Pacific a year or two ago......great movie although on my "to be watched list" at present - may view tomorrow after reading this thread.

Fond memories of Daphne Zuniga flashing some people in a car and a younger Nicholette Sheridan as "The Sure Thing".

Same..From DVDsoon about 2 year ago+ for about £3...It's an all time fave :) ...I've watched it soooo many times :notworthy

I got sick of waiting on the R2 version getting put back all the time, so ordered R1, and about a year later the R2 got released at last. It was a rubbish version though, so I was glad I went R1  (I've got the SE...double sided dvd)

BTW very old thread...from 2001? :D

A quality film. I picked my dvd up from DVD Soon before they went south. I didn't realise it was a rarity.

Didn't MGM reissue this with the same catalogue number but without all of the extras? I remember several people ordering the SE and getting the barebones version.
