yeah I watched it before, not a bad episode, best thing about it was the stuff with lionel and lex. Also I liked how we saw clark and lex's relationship develop in this ep.

Above average episode I thought. Interesting development regarding Lionel's reasonings behind his interest in Clark & his relationship with Lex takes another nasty turn.

Oh ... and also another great "Bullet-time" moment with Clark & Lana.

The story arc stuff with the Luthors was interesting but the main plot was Star Trek-lite and none of the main characters seemed to exhibit any kind of depth to their personalities.

The strength of the characters made the show what it was in S1 and S2 but in this season, Lana, Chloe and even Token seem to have badly regressed.

I enjoyed it. The main plot was a bit naff, but as said, good bullet time sfx.

I thought it was interesting Lionel having a terminal illness, (I dont think he shot himself), which sets up a future Lionel learning Clark's secret before his death, (or will Lionel inject himself???)

The best thing was we really saw a dark side to Lex wanting to take over the project, and a Clark letting Lex know about his involvement.

Shame we have a break now..

as soon as i saw lana get shot i knew straight away that clark would stand in front of the bullet, just in the nick of time. the whole ep was just a presession to that obvious finale, which is depressingly predictable. there were any number of ways they could have avoided that but they chose to go down the tired predictable root of clark speeding to lana's rescue, yet again:oh-hum:

the only intresting thing about these last few eps have been the revelations about lionel and lex. if the writers are insistant on pacing the story arc of this series then the least they could do is make the episodes a little less predictable in the meantime.

i like smallville and its annoying when you see an opening scene and realise how the whole story will pan out before the opening credits. hopefully it will be non stop story development from now till season finale.

Only had to go back a month to dig this up...

I was happy with this episode after the dross of last week. Bit disappointed with Adam's demise though.

I was expecting a super powered fight with Clark.

Oh well some good progression with Lex and Lionel as said before.

And the doey eyed Lana is getting on my tits...
