Will Sky have caught up by then?

Would be nice to watch them on tv a few days after the states instead of having to get them from other sources.

Excellent episode! .... just makes it even more frustrating that it's been cancelled. Great to see "Dark" Wesley back, taking no prisoners ..... oh & Fred in her evil leather outfit looked Ggggggorgeous!

Excellent. Agree with TonyG, great to see Wes' darker side and quite interesting at the end the way he seemed to warm up to Ilyana.

Amy Acker looked very nice :norty: :luv: :norty:

Looks like its going to get very interesting in the next few episodes (when they finally air!). Interesting too see that the Buffy crew still refuse to help becuase they are part of Wolfram & Hart...

It's criminal that a show this good is cancelled.

A pox on the WB !

Good episode - very Matrix-style in place (although Smallville does better 'bullet-time' ;))

Hmm... so Fred has really gone... so what happens now with Ilyana?

Damn US networks and their breaks - I haven't forgiven them for 24 yet!

UPN has decided to take a pass on picking up ANGEL, but we're not down and out yet!

The coming weeks are CRITICAL. We need to be heard in a big way. We need to send a strong message via a flood of post cards.

While UPN may be out of the picture, Tribune Broadcasting Company (to whom we've been sending cards for the past few days) have actually solicited fans to protest via postcards, as they feel ANGEL is a valuable show with a strong fan base.

This is our new game plan:

While continuing to flood Tribune with our support, as per their request, we've also decided to think big and hit The WB where it hurts the most:

The Big Bosses, AKA The Big Shareholders.

Time Warner, Inc. holds 66% of the stock of The WB, and so we picked our new target for a post card avalanche from among the Time Warner brass.

These are our current targets:

Time Warner, Inc
Jeffrey L. Bewkes
Chairman, Entertainment and Networks
Time Warner, Inc.
75 Rockefeller Plaza
New York, NY 10019
USA

Tribune Broadcasting Company
Patrick J. Mullen, President
Tribune Broadcasting Company
Ste. 1800, 435 N. Michigan Ave.
Chicago, Illinois 60611
USA

We chose Mr. Bewkes because his position is higher than Jordan Levin's (head of The WB) in the corporation, so he has power over Levin, and because he is part of the upper corporate structure, working in the division where the stock is held. Any way you slice it, having Mr. Bewkes aware of our efforts and commitment to save ANGEL, is a great thing.

As stated above, we also chose to continue to hit Mr. Mullin, the president of Tribune Broadcasting Company, to provide Tribune with the fan support they asked for, if and when they decide to voice their dissatisfaction with the loss of ANGEL. Tribune Broadcasting Company holds a 22% stake in the WB Network making it second largest shareholder, behind Time Warner's 66% share and ahead of the 11% held by WB network executives.

Send as many cards as possible to both targets!

Let's get cracking and get our show back!

I think having Illyria fighting on Angel's side will be pretty awesome. Especially if Spike's "something big is coming" angle happens.

I was gutted when i first heard Fred was gonna be killed off, but I'm really glad Amy Acker still gets to work on the show.

pfft, well i thought this was pretty crappy. After last episode's big cliffhanger and the hints of finally getting a decent big bad, it all comes to nothing as she wants to 'learn about humanity'. It all smacks of some recycled Star Trek script. Not impressed :nono:

Thought it was a really good episode and Angel had some good one liners
"i dont remember discussing stabbing Gunn in this mornings agenda"

and when Angel is giving the big humanity speach and Wesley shoots Knox
"Werent you listening to a word i was saying" or sumthing along those lines!!

Agree with mythuk thought Illyria was gonna be the big bad but now she's wants to fit in:gag: .... Wonder what the big bad is gonna be now......i reckon she's gonna help them bring down Wolfram and Hart. Good to see them mention Giles and Willow and that they are still suspect on Angel being with W&H

is it me or does Amy Acker look hot:norty: :norty: with that blue makeup!:luv:

Also on anther note i was watching Buffy season 7 on BBC2 tonight after watching Angel...low and behold Knox was on there as a vampire :dork:

Character-wise, another awesome episode, especially for Wes, would tend to agree about the plot - they spent too long building up Illyria only to have her chicken out at the end.

They spent so long building her up? 2 episodes?

I think its a good and different angle, if Illyria was to be evil incarnate, and be the big bad, you may as well go watch Season 6 of Buffy for the same storyline.

The angel crew will be invinsible if Iiyana joins them, and i suppose they've done the willow turn bad story already, would be a bit lame to do it again with fred.

missed last weeks... but got the gist of the story. can't say i'm loving this Illyria thing

I was never that fond of Fred up until the beginning of this series... and now they've gone and killed her off so a new character can learn how to be her. surely there must be more to it than this

though have to say amy acker did a brill job of acting, was quite surprised

Must be some mighty 'big bad' if they need a God on their side!

There is, but it's more to do with helping other characters rather than resolving a big plot piece (at the moment.)

This is not going well. I actually turned it off after 45 minutes. It just doesn't do anything for me anymore. Nothing happens and the screenwriters just put things in for the sake of it. Am not impresarated at all. :oh-hum:

I quite enjoyed this episode and am glad that so far they havent taken her to be the big bad (altho i'd like to think she could just be playing with them now), it was nice to have references there to Giles and Willow as well as Wolfram and Hart being just above a vampire at one stage in the past.

Wes was great in this whole episode, he not having much luck with women, what with having to at least try to slice their head off after they've died.

Also must admit i rather like the blue thing Illyria's got going on too :luv:

WOW - Great episode :notworthy

Just got around to watching it today. The last scene with Fred driving away from home (song "A Place Called Home" by Kim Richey)

And I wasn't even a big fan of Fred!
