Concrete info is not easy to find on this but as far as I can work out here's what's up and coming on the SP front...

An untitled (CD) single to be released Nov. 5th

Rotten Apples - Greatest Hits CD with limited edition bonus CD (Judas O'Reilly aka Pisces Iscariot part 2) released Nov. 20th. *

Greatest Hits DVD - Nov. 20th

Metro live DVD - no concrete date, could be before Christmas but probably Feb. '02.

The rest of the albums are getting re-mastered/ re-released with an extra CD of tracks sometime in the future but again no official dates.

* There will be a separate US and UK release of this with slightly different track listings.

Hope this helps, it's certainly a good (and expensive) time for Pumpkins fans :)

The final track that the Pumpkins released to US radio was called "Untitled". Is that going to be the single release perhaps???

There's some gubbins on the DVD in the news section of the NME's site.

Good spot Arch, and for those to lazy to find it, here are the details! :)

The Smashing Pumpkins have confirmed details of their 'Greatest Hits Video Collection 1991-2000'.

The video, released on November 19th 2001, is the companion to the Smashing Pumpkins' Greatest Hits CD compilation, 'Rotten Apples', out on the same day.

The video features over 18 promos chronicling the Pumpkins' musical career. In total, the DVD contains over 90 minutes of solid music, as well as an array of extras, including commentary about the production of the clips by the band themselves, narration by the directors who filmed the videos, exclusive outtakes from the shoots, and bonus behind-the-scenes documentaries.

Highlights on the DVD include the band's first video, a clip for the song 'Siva', the MTV Award-winning videos 'Tonight, Tonight' and '1979' and two live performance clips, 'Geek USA' (live from 1994) and 'An Ode to No One' (live from the last show at the Metro in Chicago in December 2000).

The complete track listing for the DVD is:

'Siva' 'Rhinocerous' 'Cherub Rock' 'Today' 'Disarm' 'Rocket' 'Bullet With Butterfly Wings' '1979' 'Zero' 'Tonight, Tonight' 'Thirty-Three' 'Ava Adore' 'Perfect' 'The Everlasting Gaze' 'Stand Inside Your Love' 'Try, Try, Try' 'Geek USA' (Live at Oz, Seattle 1994) 'An Ode to No One' (Live at Metro, Chicago, December 2000) 'I Am One' and 'Try '- A Short Film.

Greatest hits is only £12.49 on CD from CD-Wow, even less with the £5 off deal you can get at the moment... a worthy investment.

Haven't seen the DVD to pre-order yet... I might wait for the live DVD, having a bit of a thing for their new bassist Melissa (why did she have to leave Hole? Why?!)
