I was very pleased with the first MGM releases (Coffy, Foxy Brown, Black Caesar, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Original Gangstas ect.), but I don't know much about the new titles just released, so can somebody tell me if these movies is worth bying:

Across 110th Street
Bucktown
Hell Up In Harlem (ordered)
Cornbread, Earl & Me
Five On The Black Hand Side

And is there some not MGM titles I should order? I have:
Dolemite
Cleopatra Jones
Shaft
Detroit 9000 (ordered)

And Warner, where is SUPERFLY?

Are Foxy Brown, Black Caesar out already? I haven't seen them anywhere!

The only thing I know about the ones you listed is that Across 110th Street has a superb Bobby Womack soundtrack. :)

I had the Dolemite special edition. Didn't think either the film or disc were very good though...

Here's a few R1s Blaxploitation DVDs...

Doesn't list Black Belt Jones though :(

They where released in January (region 1), you can see some reviews of the MGM titles at The Digital Bits (http://www.thedigitalbits.com/reviews2/soulcinema1.html) .

But strangely Amazon has Coffy listed as an November 2001 release!
