Hi,please forgive my lack of knowledge but a few questions-this forum is great btw.
I have for the last nine years a yamaha dspa1000 av amp with a pair of mission 734's plus the 4 surround speakers and centre speaker and subwoofer that was available at the time.
The Sound is as good as on day one-using my thrusty old nicam video,Sky and ITV digital and old pioneer cd player..
I have just ordered a toshiba sd210e-my first ever DVD player!( don't know how I avoided this for so long....
Will I have the benefit of 5.1 surround sound,dts etc with my system,ie are all those things decoded by the dvd player or the amp?
And how best should I connect the Toshiba when I get it?
I am hoping I'm going to be bowled over by a huge new experience??
