my cousins band

My cousin is in a band called k2. they are releasing their debut single on monday called hello monday, self written, please can you all go to their website www.k2official.co.uk give them a listen and then post what you reckon. They won a nationwide battle of the bands and went to the mtv awards, so they are pretty good. they have also played at the whiskyagogo and viper clubs in la and have been invited back, so they are well thought of, so please give them a listen and go buy the single

Well - I downloaded the 3 tracks & had a listen.

Tight band with a good standard of musicianship (although the drummer really needs to learn another fill) but sadly nothing to distinguish them from countless other tight bands with good standards of musicianship whose drummers need to learn another fill.

Well done to them for the successes they've had so far & getting their single out - but they might have a hard time convincing the record biz that the world needs another Ocean Colour Scene.

Sorry I couldn't be more constructive - but I see & hear a *hell* of a lot of unsigned bands - and I'm afraid there's nothing about these guys that makes them stand out.

The new single out has been produced by someone different to the ones on the website and does sound alot better than the earlier versions. Although i know that doesn't make the song better but it does sound a hell of a lot better
