Not happy at all. They are already going for loads on Ebay. My missus can't stand for ages so wanted to sit. I managed to get decent seats tqice but both times they said I was too long in completing my details  Now can only get upper tier seats. Sod that.

Rumours are that this may actually be part of a tour rather than a one-0ff. I also fully expect thim to add another show at the MEN.

I'm sure the touts use software to block other peole getting tickets. Ticketmaste in the US have stopped this by adding a unique code on screen that you have to retype to complete your order. They need to do that here

I feel like reporting all those on sale on eBay so they don't get their tickets to sell on for vast tickets and they go to real fans

There's a guy selling 8 standing tickets for £70 each! Bloody touts!

I got 2 seated and 2 standing. The trick is to go for one at a time and just keep re-trying ticketmaster. I probably had to request the standing tickets a few hundred times, but eventually got them.

I only wanted 2, but got the seated ones in case I couldn't get the standing.

Fantastic - I got two more using this method.... it's my brother's 30th next week so they're for him and his girlfriend

What are the seats and are you interested in selling them on?

No wonder tickets were so hard to come by. I've just seen on morrisseytour.com (http://www.morrisseytour.com/) that tickets actually went on sale yesterday   :searchme:

The presale was with www.gigsandtours.com, accessed through a URL on Sanctuary's recently launched official Moz homepage - www.morrisseymusic.com. Only a limited number of tickets were made available in the presale, but I was lucky enough to get my two standing places at 9.30am yesterday.

Hope you all manage to get the tickets you want, but at least, as has already been mentioned, a full UK and world tour is strongly rumoured to accompany the launch of the album in May...

Well, I got mine - but the rumours are a consolation to all my pals that missed out :)

They're lower tier section 108 row M. I'm waiting to hear from a friend who might want them, but if not I'll let you know.

I was lucky enough to get 2 standing tickets ( for my mate and I )for this gig on the 22nd May. I have just found out that one of my closest friend's wedding is the same day ( 220 miles away ! )

IF Moz does anounce another date, and if anyone gets standing ( sorry don't want seats, gotta be down the front ! ) tickets, then I'd be happy to swap them.

It's rumoured that if there are any extra dates, then they will be announced this week. trouble is I'm going to Barcelona for a few days on Tuesday, so might miss out on getting them.

Drop me a pm if anyone's interested

thanks

Hi rugman - I'm very interested, if I'm not too late ! [Unable to PM or to email you].

Bad timing with your social calendar - doesn't that always happen !

No news of any extra dates yet - could be in the next fortnight - hope you enjoyed Barcelona !

Pls let me know if they're still up for grabs (yeah, like you, need to be down the front for a near-religious experience !)

Morrissey's just been announced as this year's curator of the Meltdown Festival at the South Bank Centre in London, June 11th - 27th, so there's every possibility of a live show at that time for anyone who's missed out on Manchester.

More info at the NME...

Hi Driver8,

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, been a bit busy since getting back home;)
I was really worried that Moz would announce dates whilst I was away, I see that he's playing some swedish festival and dublin castle, a little too far to travel as on the official website, there are more dates to follow.
If you manage to get tickets to one of the other shows then I'd be happy to swap my MEN ones (standing !! ;) ) I will of course also be looking to get them too, in case you are unable to get some. Any extra we might end up with, will not be a problem looking on what they are going for on ebay:| Anyway, my email is pjc5161@talk21.com if you hear of anything, I will do likewise if I hear anything too. Looking forward to seeing Moz soon:notworthy
Also found a site with some footage of a US tv show with a live version of 'first of the gang to die', apparently a track off the new album, catch it here, ( i bet you've already seen it though !! )

www.gigsandtours.com have just released some additional seated tickets for Manchester on their site for anyone who missed out first time around. Doubt they'll last long so move quickly!

Just nabbed 2 seated tickets for this from ticketmaster in Block 103 which is not bad. Be quick if you want some
