 Looks preety good. I only have the original US version that supposedly had a dodgy soundtrack (though i didn't notice it myself). Might upgrade to this one if i can find it cheap.:D

Great review, but is the R3 NTSC or Pal? I like the comparison button you have added to the review.
The R3 looks like a winner so far with less EE then the "SUPERBIT" R1 DVD and a better 5.1 mix track, Thanks THX 1138.

R3 is NTSC, and thanks for your comments.

To a certain extent you're stuffed as debit cards are not a good way of buying foreign DVDs (amazon for instance only list your credit cards from your UK account when logging onto their foreign sites). ********* stock some R3 stuff but not this dvd.
In a small number of cases companies will accept payment via people like paypal who will now accept switch as your payment method.
www.HKflix.com has leon and accepts paypal

Just got this delivered today from mrkwang.com for £10.16 all in (via Paypal). Very impressed with the supplier and 5 days delivery from Korea isn't bad at all. Can't wait to watch the Directors Cut after hearing so much about it

Thanks for that tip Listy, I went to Mr Wang and it arrived ultra quick. Good stuff.
I bought this DVD a few weeks back. Some of the extras are pathetic but the main presentation is fantastic.

CDjapan have a re-released limited edition (containing both cuts of the film) including DTS up for pre-order here (http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=PDF-916)
Can anyone tell me what the AV was like on the original Japanese Integral relase?
It'll give me a rough idea of what to expect AV wise on this re-release.
