View Full Version : *Heads Up* DVD Clinic ITV 11.30pm
From Digiguide:
Neil McLachlan presents a round-up of the week's DVD releases. Tonight, an interview with Cabin Fever director Eli Roth, the film that's been dubbed Korea's answer to X-Men, and explosions and wisecracks galore in Bad Boys 2.
(New Series)
Is this for all ITV1 regions or just Carlton? It doesn't show up for me in the Granada region.
No sign for Meridian either.
It's just Carlton. Every other region gets something else.

Because no-one outside of London has a DVD player? We've only just got windows and indoor toilets here in the wilds of Hampshire.
:oh-hum:

All the other regions get "Betamax round-up" or if you’re in Tyne-tees there’s a programme about nose hair.

Don't forget that if you have Sky Digital, you can manually tune to the different ITV regions.
OH MY GOD!
less "dvd clinic" and more "3 ugly gimps on a sofa" :gag:

Rough around the edges undoubtedly but I found this superior to the snooty BBC4 show and refreshing in that they actually had an opinion and weren’t afraid to air it. Good to see Bad Boys 2 outed as the dreadful trash it really is.
Also good to see someone mentioning DVD extras even if he didn’t know the real reason the featurettes are broken up into small bits.
I can't tell the difference. Seems the BBC4 "DVD Collection" goes for the informed Sight & Sound approach whereas this goes for the average punter approach (without anymore detail than you can glean from Blockbusters instore magazine) - but presented by 3 people who think they should be presenting the BBC4 show. Neither rings my bell - I'd rather get my info from these forums!
