Hi there! It looks like both R1 and R2 both have two sepcial editions each of this film on DVD... which one do I get? the 2 disc silver cover one or the S.E thingy, and in which region?! :) Cheers!

The R1 & R2 2 Disc special editions are identical except for PAL/NTSC dilemmas & packaging. (although I think a swear word was removed from the R2)

IMO the R1 packaging is a much more stylish affair, but the R2 is only £14.99 at Play at the moment.

The choice, as they say, is yours. :)

There's a 1 disc & a 2 disc version for each region - if money is no problem, I'd say get the R1 2 disc set. :)

Don't forget Region 1 also offers a DTS version if that's your thing.

Rewind/DVD Compare (http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk/index.htm) have comprehensive comparisons for both the 1 and 2 disc sets.

I personally own the 2 disc R2 set but that's coz I won it in a competition! :D

I've got the R2 2 disc edition - shiny silvery cover.

I do have DTS facilities - is it really worth it over the DD5.1? Do I lose out in extras? I've checked out Rewind, but lose myself among all the listings of extra features! I don't wanna lose any worthwhile extras, and I assume being only on one disc in DTS, it will be less featured......have I just answered my own question?!! :D

The, ahem, "censorship issues" are the substitution of the word "prick" with "jerk" for a PG cert (despite the fact they "*****" constantly - obviously the BBFC disagree with the forum's auto-censor software ;).

Of some actual importance to people aside from anal-retentive anti-censorship campaigners, R1 is 2 DVD-9s, with snazzy pictures on each, while R2 is one of those lovely, scratch-loving DVD-18s and a DVD-9 (PAL required more space).

*Looks over to shelf and cool R1 editon* Choice is yours!:)
