For me the first half was fine, then it nose dived into a typical gung ho cliche ridden mess.
I also thought it was odd that not only did Willis disobey direct orders from his superiors, but ended up getting most of his squad killed in the process.:nuts:
Still it was fine for rental fodder.

I thought it was a reasonable enough film but no way could I sit through it again! It had a lovely 5.1 soundtrack :)

This has one of the most upsetting scenes I have ever had to sit through, the one with the crying baby.
Nasty stuff.

This was one of my favorite films last year. Lots of people complained that it was too patriotic but I disagree. I don't even remember seeing a single american flag in the entire film. :clap:
going to see it with a 9.99 a month ugc cinema card was fine - but other than that no no :|
