I see that the Lion King - Special Edition
has won best DVD at the BAFTA Interactive awards.

Is it that good?

I thought BAFTA's were british awards, in whiche case why is an American DVD winning?

Also Disney DVD's aren't 'officially' DVDs - they feature the 'DisneyDVD' logo not the DVD Video logo, which means Disney won't guarantee that they will play on all DVD Video players.

The whole "DisneyDVD" thing is more to do with Disney wanting to use their trademark and The DVD Forum having strict rules which prevent such compound phrases - rather than any compatibility issues.

There have been plenty of "official" DVD-Video discs with compatibility problems!
