I've just watched this excellent film on TCM and I'm wondering if has a decent DVD release yet.

The threads I've found about it are old and state that it's a crappy flipper - has there been a worthy release since then or is the anything in the pipeline?

The current release is a flipper, but the transfer is quite good and so is the accompanying documentary.

It is the only release available right now, but there are rumours - and I stress that they are only rumours - that Warners is preparing a Sam Peckinpah box set, which may, or may not, contain an SE of this amazing film. No more news than that right now.

BTW my search for 'Wild Bunch' brought up quite alot of recent threads, including the ones here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=267697&highlight=wild+bunch) and here (http://thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=264757&highlight=wild+bunch). I think you'll find that it's still an issue that's discussed on a regular basis!
