Best Summer Event Movie Ever?

Sitting down for my tea, I slipped a largely unknown film called 'Jaws' into my DVD player. I skipped to Chapter 13 (71 mins) though! :D

It got me thinking - is this, the first summer event movie, the best? :confused:

Off the top of my head I couldn't think of a better summer blockbuster so I was wondering what are everyone else's faves?

Somehow, I think Steven Spielberg features heavily in any list you could make on the best summer blockbusters!

I believe the term 'blockbuster' comes from the fact that people queued all down the road and around the block in order to see Jaws at Mann's Chinese Theater.
