Just Call Me Wanda

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the extras on the fifth disc.
Unlike 'Fight Club' for instance, the box doesn't read an endlessly long list of extras culminating in virtually nothing of interest or enjoyment.
The Godfather disc didn't look packed with extras when I first read what it contained, however, what it does have our extensive and informative goodies!
One of, if not the best documentary on a film/film trilogy is located as the first extra on The Behind The Scenes section. I found this enjoyable and very informative, as well as showing a lot more stuff we usually don't get to see. One thing that did disappoint me was the fact that there were no Chapter stops. Additionally, I couldn't 'Last Memo' my last position meaning I had to fast forward to where I was before.
Another good feature, and one I particularly enjoyed was the very interesting 'Coppola's Notebook'. I can't believe he took the time to create those page windows so he could take notes, but it just goes to show Coppola's passion for the book and his film.
'The Godfather 1971' is good because it was shot at the time, and gets interviews off people who couldn't make it to the recent documenatary for whatever reason.
'Coppola and Puzo On Screenwriting' - I enjoyed this also, but it might be because I'm a bit of a screenwriter myself! ;)
The hidden features can be found HERE (http://www.dvdreview.com/eastereggs/collect/313.html).
I believe Paramount have done a great job with the boxset. The picture quality is as good as it could have been, as is the sound. The extras are top notch and the packaging isn't that bad.
