Bound R2 - aspect ratio question?

I've got the £5.99 Fox/Pathe R2 version.

It says very clearly on the cover widescreen !:85:1 .

But when I watched it, it appears to be fullscreen!

Can anyone check their copies and confirm this?:confused:

I have the one that says Full Uncut Version across the front. It's by Pathe.

Definitely anamorphic widescreen but remember that 1.85:1 will fill your screen if you have a widescreen TV.

What is making you think it's full screen?

Your DVD player aspect ratio settings aren't set to 4:3 P&S are they?

EDIT: Actually, sod that- Bound isn't encoded for that (so if you had a 4:3 TV it'd display it letterboxed)

I've just checked this on another player.

I've just reset my Toshiba DVD player to 16:9 and everything is now ok.

Strange as I could swear it almost came out pan & scan!
