Should be interesting.

Detriot Rock City. Not sure about this. I reckon Snider's probably picked one of the better tracks for his voice, but I think that maybe he should have gone with a Gene-vocal track.
Love Gun. Tommy Shaw has a good voice, but I don't think its suited to this.
Cold Gin. Mark Slaughter. 'Nuff said! (but I think this should maybe have been the one Dee Snider did??)
King Of The Nighttime World. I reckon that Chris Jericho will make a credible attempt at this!
I Want You. Kip Winger. See Mark Slaughter.
Shout It Out Loud. Oh, now, this should be funny! I love Lemmy, but .... (and if memory serves me, isn't this a "duet" track?)
Strutter. This I'm looking forward to. Phil Lewis has already recorded and released one cover version of a Kiss track, and he should do a bang-up job on Strutter
I Stole Your Love. I vaguely remember Robin McAuley's voice, and it was OK. Not sure if it will suit the track, though
God of Thunder, Calling Dr. Love and Parasite. I have no idea, 'coz I have no idea who the featured vocalists are! I do, however, think Lemmy should have been given God of Thunder.

Of course, all of the above is just IMODHO   :notworthy

Arrived today :D

Am on my 2nd listen of it and it is one of the best KISS tribute albums I've heard (and I've heard a lot !)

Dee Snider singing Detroit Rock City is a thing of beauty :notworthy

Will watch the DVD tonight.

Still thinking of picking this up. Whats exactly on the dvd an is it worth a go? Hows the album on a whole?

The DVD has interviews with 25 of the people who played on the album (interview length ranges from 10 seconds to a couple of minutes)

The album as a whole is excellent and much better than KISS My Ass IMHO.

Sounds interesting - especially the Lemmy & Phil Lewis tracks :)

The best cover version of Strutter has to be The Donnas tho

Just listened to this, so I'll stick my reactions after my original comments:
Detriot Rock City. Not sure about this. I reckon Snider's probably picked one of the better tracks for his voice, but I think that maybe he should have gone with a Gene-vocal track. Knock me down with a Loch Ness Monster (Paul Stanley, Animalize tour ... ) Brilliant!
Love Gun. Tommy Shaw has a good voice, but I don't think its suited to this.
Yup - I was right. A bit weak
Cold Gin. Mark Slaughter. 'Nuff said! (but I think this should maybe have been the one Dee Snider did??) Again, brilliant.
King Of The Nighttime World. I reckon that Chris Jericho will make a credible attempt at this! I reckon he made FAR MORE than a credible effort.
I Want You. Kip Winger. See Mark Slaughter. Hmm .... not sure. Not as good as I thought it would be, but still excellent.
Shout It Out Loud. Oh, now, this should be funny! I love Lemmy, but .... (and if memory serves me, isn't this a "duet" track?)   :notworthy Gotta say I was right - hilarious!
Strutter. This I'm looking forward to. Phil Lewis has already recorded and released one cover version of a Kiss track, and he should do a bang-up job on Strutter Again, a bit weaker than I thought it would be, but that may be just because the expectations I had were so high (I'm a BIG Lewis fan).
I Stole Your Love. I vaguely remember Robin McAuley's voice, and it was OK. Not sure if it will suit the track, though Pretty damned good!
God of Thunder, Calling Dr. Love and Parasite. I have no idea, 'coz I have no idea who the featured vocalists are!
God Of Thunder :gag: , Calling Dr. Love :gag: , Parasite  (not sure, part of me thinks  , part of me thinks :gag: )
