View Full Version : Stargate SG-1 7x18 Heroes Part 2 *SPOILERS*
Well what can I say but  . I was looking forward to this episode after last weeks show which I found very funny in places, but in no way I prepared for what happened in this episode, which was the complete opposite being very dramatic and sad.
I had no idea that Teryl Rothery "Janet Fraiser" was leaving the show, and by the way she died its not going to be one of these it leaves the way for her to return deaths.
I was afraid that SG-1 might start to lose its edge after seven seasons, but after outstanding episodes like that, I hope it continues.

I did expect her to die, I mean there was no way they could lose any of SG1 and there were no other characters who you could see going
I was quite shocked to see her die to be honest, i can normally see these things coming and generally hear about these kind of cast members leaving so its not such a big thing. I just expected it to be that unknown SG team member, that was despite thinking to myself midway thru it, they didnt show Dr Frasier come back or in the infirmary.
Overall a great episode, long may it continue!
Wow what a great episode, just to echo the comments above there is no way I saw Janet's death coming and nor had I read anything to say she was leaving the show. They were quite clever in how they revealed it was the good doctor that had passed away because I am sure I was not the only one who thought that it was Jack who had been killed.
Good to see Robert Picardo back on our screens.

I had the misfortune of seeing a spoiler for this by accident a few months ago, so I knew it was coming. However, it was clever the way they made you think O'Neill had died. I liked the way that the death was very quick and meaningless, however, I felt that it had no emotional impact at all the way that Daniel's did a few years ago.
I agree with all the sentiments above (except that I did feel it managed to recapture some, if not quite a lot, of the emotion of Daniel's death.
Really, really looking forward to the two-part season finale. I haven't read any spoilers so I can't wait to see what's going to happen.
