You've probably heard about CH5's attempt at an all-star reality show although they've chosen some docu-soap stars rather than all contestants. They announced half of the line up before and have now announced the full line up:

So who would you have picked?
I'd have picked the winner of The Mole 1 (UK) and Len (Jailbreak). If they were picking from the US stuff shown here I'd have picked Jee, Nathan or Dana from BB4
The format is a little like Celeb BB but with a hint of BB: USA. There's no evictions in week 1, then the public vote and the most favourite evicts their choice from the least 3 favourire. The show runs for 3 weeks

So the public votes a HOH and they pick from the bottom 3 in voting. I still dont like any public involvment in voting because it only encourages them to be fake and play up to the viewers. Also the editing can affect how the public choose to vote.
Will this be streamed 24/7 on five?

Viewers or competitors, there's always someone to play up to. It's just more interesting when it's the competitors and not 13 year-old girls who txt Ptr is fit xxxx
They're not voting for HOH though, they're voting for least favourite so HOH is the one who gets least votes which may not neccessarily the most popular, just the least unpopular
CH5 will be doing things throughout the day buy I believe it's on their interactive service.

I'm going to watch this.Hopefully it will be entertaining,and on paper has a hell of an eclectic group with potential for anything i guess.I wonder if Waller will be as fat,if he is he'll doubtless get round to explaiing his theories on exercise.

I'm really enjoying it,but as mentioned Jade cannot shut her gloriously uneducated gob.I don't know what the plan for the evictions are but the sooner she goes the better for the balance of the show.

Edit: The night crew provided the house with a vacuum cleaner to clear up the remaining glass... Just as they were about to plug it in, the crew phone, and ask them to return said vacuum... The guys guess that this is due to the fact that the house electricity supply probably isn't compatible (probably not 240V as it's in a studio, etc)... So now they're waiting for a vacuum cleaner that they can use! *chuckle* Nicks been nominated to wait up...

A considerable part of the country still don't have access to C5 though do they ? plus the stupid 8 til 9 & 10 til 11 timing of the show doesn't seem to help. I think people have got used to the idea that reality TV needs a 24 hour feed to really work.

I think this is pretty good. Within 1 week we have had Maureen going nutz, Jade throwing up and Kerry McFadden falling on her a*se :lol:
The only thing I dont like is the 'guest every night' scenario. Surely they should be left alone to bond & bicker rather than play endless games and have celebrity visitors !!
Kerry falling under the table has been the best thing about the show so far.
I think this show is really just a tribute to all the other reality shows.If you don't like them then it would be a pointless exercise watching in the first place.
putting that american woman through that was nasty, stupid idiot Ricardo prancing around getting in the tank, he/she had it easy!
It must have really stunk though.

Apparently Jade told Rik that Maureen didn't need help in the kitchen (cooking the sausages) . Rik then started crying and told some lies about was Jade supposedly said to him. Jade finds out and goes off on one like only she can.

She went off on one for more than 20 minutes shouting and swearing about Rik to anyone that would listen.

Funny, since everyone was convinced Nick was a plant in BB1. I was actually thinking about this becuase I hoped they'd use something from "The Mole" but Josie's hardly done anything to disrupt things.

Cedge, the ratings are on the tv section of teletext. Also apparently Endermole might sue them for ripping off Big Brother (even though they didn't try anything with IACGMOOH and BB is basically a gameshow version of The real world)

Apparently the evictions were going to be on monday but they've been bought forward to saturday. Also instead of the most popular choosing from the 3 least popular, it's supposed to be everyone voting from the least popular 2, face to face! I'd much prefer it if they did it secretly, that'd be more entertaining.
Also 5 are doing more shows from next week:
9.30am to 10am, then later in the afternoon between 2.30pm and 3.30pm. The late night show will be extended to 1am.
They didn't show the rant that happened between ten and eleven last night on the 11 oclock show.

Todays challenge looks great as well Day 7 - Saturday 14.30 Rik is set to face his 'Fit Club' nemesis Sgt Harvey Walden who is flying in from the States to set a challenge where Rik attempts to retrieve piles of cash whilst under paintball fire. Can Rik move fast enough or will Harvey break him again? :D
the challenge sounds great from what rik said!! and i know how much paintballs hurt, so i feel his pain! but sounds like rik did really well in it! would like to see maureens challenge. they were talking about the prize money and said maureen got 10,000 so it has happened but we havent seen it. if she crashed she will get more votes to keep her in and off the roads!

Ricardo's walking out after arguing with almost everyone and smashing up the house. Maureen then threw a whole saucepan full of water in his face and he ran off crying.
Then he comes back downstairs and starts ranting and raving at Maureen which results in Craig going off on one "She's an old lady I'm won't have you shouting at her like that. If you mouth off at her I'll throw you outside. You're a spoilt little brat" Cue Ricardo screaming about being victimised because he's gay.
Now Rik Waller is following him around trying to convince him to stay, saying "I'm a mediator. It's just the type of guy I am." :lol:
I've said it before, but this is superb telly. I don't know why it's been panned when other reality shows (which I don't usually like) are so highly rated.

I've watched all the BB: USA's , but I don't think any of them had as much tension and bust up's as Back to Reality has had. And it's only been on for a week or so. :thumbs:

As you say this is the greatest reality show ever.All the people who go on about BB/Jungle/etc and then slag off this programme have not got a clue.This has it all in the craziest,saddest,funniest and surreal mix ever constructed.I said at the start i would watch it as the amazingly eclectic group had such potential,and they have sure given all one could ever want.It has only been on a week,with two to go.This is a one off,one to savour.
Unfortunately though evictions will soon start (assuming the contestants don't continue to evict themselves at the current rate of one per night, leaving Craig to win by default) which will leave less of the total nutters to fight with each other ... I really hope not, but we may have seen the peak craziness tonight (plus the producers are going to have to take steps to calm things down ... Ricardo threw everything around the kitchen including pans and knives ... could have been the first manslaughter on reality TV)
I don't think we'll be seeing Richardo in the mansion again...
...Or a proper eviction tomorrow :clap:

mr Stanton's got to admit that after a very slow start this is fast turning in to the best reality show... ever! Apart from Josie there all the most vile people ever put on the planet and watching them all go mad is highly entertaining.

Some reality TV programmes are addictive viewing. The downside to them... people like Jade earn a fortune out of them and inflate their egos even more.

I understood that he was annoyed because more coverage would help her win not as a means to an ends.

After Ricardo's exit interview I think he was the most sensible and insightful person on the whole show.

Jade Goody was rushed to hospital after collapsing on the set of the television show Back to Reality.
At 11.15pm last night, the Big Brother housemate blacked out in the mansion in Acton where the Channel 5 reality programme was being filmed.
A spokesman for the show said: “She has been taken to hospital in an ambulance. We do not know the cause of this.
“Her boyfriend, Jeff Brazier, father of their baby Bobby, has just left the site now. He was summoned immediately to the studio and has left with her in an ambulance.
“She recovered after collapsing but the show’s producers were concerned and called emergency services. We are awaiting news of what it is regarding.”
The celebrity housemates entered the house on February 14 and the last, the winner, will leave on March 5.
The remaining housemates are Josie D’Arby, Goody, James Hewitt, Craig Phillips, Maureen Rees and Rik Waller.

already my interest is slowing down how poorly they edited all the jades bf stuff as a pro jade.

I havent watched this much so dont know what really going on. But i saw last nights episode and the scene BettyBoop describes above was absolute comedy.
First of all Craig knocks Rik in the face. Then Rik declares 'My discipline is wrestling':lol:

I think Josie's playing a clever game telling Jade she's pick her over Craig and still being pally with Craig. I think Josie and Maureen will be up tonight with Maureen leaving. Then Josie and Jade with Jade leaving.

The editing is so biased,the camera is obsessively focused on Jade,it's like the Jade Appreciation Society.I can't believe they will fix the voting but the lengths they have gone to,to twist the programme,i guess it must be a distinct possibility.

I missed the end because I was watching something better. When she talks about onions growing behind her ear I'm not surprised about anything growing on her.

Nope, Major James Hewitt did ... and deservedly so ... out of a bad bunch, he was the most entertaining.
For re-introducing the phrase, "Ding-Dong!" to the public vocabulary, that alone makes him a worthy winner :thumbs:

This wasn't great TV but it was 1000 x better than the unwatchably preeningly boring Jungle celeb dog's mess on earlier in the year. Harry's dad was a worthy winner, best of a good bunch !
