TPM, Sony and the FBI Skip

I have a chipped Sony 725, with a mod which allows me to skip through copyright warnings on discs of all regions. Except, it would seam, TPM.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
Have I, inadvertantly, entered a code into my mod which disables the skip?
Any other ideas?

Have you tried any other R1 discs to see if it happens?

Well compared to the R2 it's a really minor problem. You have to go through English, Danish, Norvegian, Finnish and I think another one warning before accees to anything. And worse, every time I restart the player I've got to go through that again, even if the position I've stopped is memorized. That, plus the fact that there is no way to access the sound or subtitle during the movie really irritated me.

I haven't confirmed that the skip still works on R1 discs since it appeared as a problem on TPM but it always used to work on discs of all regions.

The R4 is the same as the R2, but on my Wharfie 750S you can just "track skip" from the English warning to Danish to Norwegian etc.

Some of my R1s refuse to chapter skip, so I have to do the above.
