Apparantly Anchor Bay have plans with Director Danny Cannon to go back and re-edit the film to Cannon's desired cut and not the dumbass Stallone tinkered version we all know and love/loath for a 2003 release.

I'd always heard that a more hard ass version of this was on the cutting room floor, would be interesting to see it

i'd definitely be interested to see this version.

Even though the other version is a bit naff i've always enjoyed it (though i wouldnt buy it) when its been on tv.

Maybe this version will be a lot better (then again maybe not :) )

I wonder if they can CG Dredd's helmet back on for the entire movie? ;)

If they can edit all out all traces of Rob Schneider, and make Dredd more menacing than Stallone's wise-cracking ("I knew you were going to say that") portrayal, I'd also be interested...

Can't help but think it's gonna take more than a re edit to make it a good movie though.

I've read the shooting script and it wasn't a million miles away from what you saw on screen.

I really cant see what they can do to make it any better. All the characters were totally wrong from what you read in the comics.

Id love someone to do a remake but its never gonna happen.

yeap, shooting judge dredd with his helmet off was a cardinal sin, went against the whole meaning of the dredd enigma.
