R2 French LOTR Gift Set - nice extras!!

Just got the R2 French Bookend "Gift Set" and it appears to have some extras that no other region edition has.

There is a neat mini-folder that contains 12 glossy colour postcards of various scenes in the film, a double sided storyboard graphic which on one side has a black and white reproduction of the scene where the Hobbits hide under the tree from one of the riders and on the other side is a colour reproduction of the "ghostly" appearance of one of the riders you see when the Ring is worn. Finally the set includes a largish map of Middle Earth (54cm by 54cm)

Overall not a bad selection of extras!

it certainly has more stuff than the UKR2 but it has french DTS6.1 and not in english. (just in case people care)

Where did you get the French eddition? Has this been deleted like the UK collectors edition? I would really like to get hold of a UK collectors edition, but ebay seems the only place now and I can't stretch to the £80 they seem to be going for :-(

Got it from Amazon.fr - worked out a bit expensive though - £55 delivered. If you went for this set and the French writing really put you off, you could always get the UK 4 disk version which is still readily available and sell on the French one. (You probably only lose a tenner)
