Does anybody know where I can purchase the region free anamorphic deluxe edition of this movie like cannibal ferox I own. Not the UK cut version. I have seen this DVD at http://www.directvideo.com/details/066606660680.htm
Dont know wehther to order from this gang or not, or has anyone else? Or does anyone know any other sites that has this DVD.

The ********* version is the old nonanamorphic region 2 "Collector's Edition" version though isn't it?

Wait for the R1 special edition from Grindhouse Releasing which will feature a completely remastered print taken from the original negative, a commentary track from Ruggero Deodato & Robert Kerman, and rumour has it, the legendary piranha scene.

There is no sign of a DVD release date yet, but then Grindhouse have only just issued the film theatrically in the US.

the pirahna scene is a myth, some photos were taken for publicity stills but no such scene was ever filmed.
