Thinking about seeing this, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me whether it is in English or French?
The trailer seems to be in english, but if this is the case, how come my local independant cinema thats showing it is listing it as having english subtitles? http://www.broadway.org.uk/diary/films/the_dreamers.html

Are there two versions of this film or something?

Just confused me? Im not in the mood to go watch a subtitled film at the moment!

English & French according to imdb
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309987/

If you get BBC4 they've been having a Bertolucci season and have been showing a docu called "Bertolucci makes The Dreamers" which is next shown on Sunday Feb 8th at 10pm.

this lists English & French as the languages as well. It's about an American in France so I think you can expect bits of both and therefore English subtitles in parts, like Bertolucci's "Stealing Beauty" (about Brits & Americans in Italy) had subs for the Italian portions. Wish I could confirm absolutely but it's only been on release a day and it's unlikely to play anywhere near me!

Saw this yesterday, it's 95% in english, and whatever it was in French, it has english subtitles.
