best vhs picture possible?

can anyone give me tips on getting the best picture out of my vhs machine?

im under the impression that rgb isnt possible with vhs so is standard scart the best option or can you use s-video or would the phono sockets be the best bet?

any tips?

Scart is the best you will get. You can't use s-video unless you have an S-VHS vcr.:)

The best you wll get is to buy an S-VHS deck as mentioned above (JVC do some reasonable priced ones) and these will give the best possible picture from VHS (unless you go D-VHS ;) ). Personally I would just stick with a standard scart connection and save up for a PVR :D
