Has anyone got one of these Sony 36" TVs? I'm looking at changing my TV and this is currently top of my list.

Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Cheers

Return rates are above average, therefore you should be able to pick up a refurb in as new condition for around £800.

Are you a dealer, or do you have someone in the know?

I moderate the crt forum on another board. Try http://www.robertwhyteltd.co.uk/robertwhyteproduct.php?ID=323 , I am not recomending them.

Look at either Panasonic Acuity or Toshiba picture frame sets instead.

Forget Sony! :nono:

Sorry, but I've always had Sony and never had a problem. I prefer the picture of Sonys to the Panasonics and Toshibas that my friends have. I really don't like the picture on the picture frame Tosh.

Also, my AV system is mostly (everything but Tivo/Sky+) Sony and it's nice for it to match.

Cheers

Maybe you should consider a Panasonic. When I bought a new TV 18 months ago, no other TV came close to the cracking picture on the Panny.
Also, there seems to be a lot of respect for the PD30 model at the moment.

I have the previous model to this TV the FS70 and I have had no problems with it what so ever and I have still not seen a picture as good on any other TV!!!!

Even on dodgy ITV football coverage off Sky+ the DRC-MF works its wonders.

Cos he's a pratt! :) [and we know each other ;) ]

In CRT TV terms I champion Panasonic in the same way he is a Sony fanboy - and this from someone who drives a SEAT!
