...pretty tough leaving OUATIC2 and Miracles though. And Purple Storm and Hitman.... :D

Plus Encounters of the Spooky Kind and Beast Cops are out in the next couple of months! BAH!

As a DVD package and film I think police story is pretty hard to beat ... the rest I have are all pretty good too because I have not bought any I don't like.

It's funny I have rented 95% of the HKL titles but only own one - New Dragon gate Inn - which is just a fantastic swordplay HK movie

From all I have rented the best films were:
Drunken Master (so, so fun)
Iron Monkey
Purple Storm
Eastern Condors (yet I found the disc poor - not the best transfer, audio 'clicks' on the soundtrack, and cut)

I have to disagree with avoiding
The Postman Fights Back - good film, real classic action and ninjas no less! :D

& Battle Creek Brawl is fun like other JC movies, isn't it? I thought so

However
Body Weapon
Hitman
are poor movies IMO

I like to rent the HKL collection rather than buy, then later pick up the best of the best IMO

So I'll definetly be getting

Purple Storm

Ooh I should mention the Bruce Lee movies - I am personally not a big fan, however if you are these must be seen as the best discs HKL offer!

Magnificient Warriors
AD 2000

I've watched Postman... a couple of months ago and I was not too impress, but worth a rental.

For me, Iron monkey is the best HKL DVD I have owned or seen, purely because it is such a fantastic film on top of a cracking DVD.
To pick 4 others though would be very tough...

Iron Fisted Monk (Just watched my review copy).
In The Line Of Duty
Postman Fights Back (Also disagre about avoiding this, a very fun "western" style martial arts flick)
Any of the 3 Bruce Lee flick (obviously avoiding the very lame Game Of Death).

Once Upon A Time In China 2
Legend Of A Fighter (As it is a class old school kungfu movie not available anywhere else).

Fusion, not quite as good.
The first 3mins (the opening title sequence) has some edge enhancement, quite a bit of grain and a few digital artefacts.
Also halfway through the movie it looks as if the main print has suffered quite a bit of damage, as there are some marks that look like stains flashing over the screen for a couple of minutes (just b4 Sammo enters the Brothel).

Apart from the above, the print does look older (because it is!) and does suffer from more grain than Mag. Butch.

Still an excellent movie with an outstanding commentary from Mr Logan.
