Hi Philc,

No need to export the Panasonic DVD Recorder is alive and available in Blightly.

I've seen one in Martin Dawes of all places. Shame no one really knew much about it but the guy saod when he saw it he thought he better get one out of the box.

I had a quick play with it and its really nice and £999.99 which I suppose is'nt too bad.

I have seen them for £850 on the web though.

So, so tempting but seeing as Panasonic's latest SVHS ET vcr I got has only lasted 7 days I may reconsider which make to buy in the future.......but more of that in another post!

Yes but they are alot chaeper out here. I have seen them in BIC Camera for 97,000 Yen (Around £600). Plus if I buy it in three or four months they will be even cheaper. Okay the 100V issue may be a problem but in Akihabara they have duty free shops where you can buy the Euro model for exactly the same price :) I love the fact that you can record whilst watching something else and playback the program that you are recording before it has finished. Mmmm technology!
